HADDYN – THE FIRST MONTH

It’s amazing how a newborn can change the face of time. Haddyn turned seven weeks old on Sunday. We spend our days just being together … enjoying her, caring for her, rocking, “wearing” her and snuggling, knowing that this tender time with our tiny baby will go so fast. She has already grown and changed so much in this short amount of time – if only I could stop time or hold each and everyday in a little memory bank …

 

Instead, we cherish these moments and feel so happy waking up to her each morning, spending hours being with her, listening to her noises, looking at her and seeing her smile.

 

Our journey has been far more full that I could have every imagined – very emotional, joyful, beautiful, incredibly difficult/scary, proud, exhausting, and so full of happiness and joy.

 

We are thankful for the love of our family and friends and we’re overwhelmed by all of the support – meals, gifts, cards and visitors just to make sure our family has the best start. We are grateful.
